South Haven Garden Club Scholarships

The South Haven Garden Club is pleased to offer a $500 renewable scholarship for a college bound student from the South Haven, Michigan area.

Qualifications:

1 - Grade Point of 2.5 GPA or better
2 - Proposed field of study must be horticulture related (e.g Botany, ecology, landscape design, natural resources, environmental technology, etc.)
3 - Applicant must be a South Haven Area high school senior, graduate, or resident. School districts include but not limited to: South Haven, Covert, Bangor, Bloomingdale, Gobles, Hartford, Coloma, and Fennville.
4 - Applicant must write a short essay detailing interest, activities, and goals in horticulture or a related field. Limit the essay to no more than one page.
5 - This award is not limited to any specific college or technical school.
6 - Scholarship is payable upon the completion of a minimum of 6 college credits with a 2.5 GPA or better.
7 - Scholarship recipients may reapply annually.

1 - Print the Application form and fill it out.

3 - Obtain high school (and college) transcripts and ACT or SAT scores.

Mail the completed application information to the South Haven Garden Club Scholarship Committee by March 15th.
